Certiphene™
1 Introduction & Overview
Certiphene At first glance, Certiphene™ may seem to be an attractive weight loss formula. We find the fact that Certiphene™ is being marketed through an official and exclusive website to be very appealing. This website even posts a couple of before-and-after pictures, although extensive testimonials are unavailable at this time. The most attractive feature, however, is that Certiphene™ contains Hoodia and Chromium.

Some capsule-based weight loss supplements may be incredibly effective and safe, especially if paired with good exercise and a healthy, balanced diet. However, there are many weight loss supplements available today, and many of them may fall short of their claims. In light of this, we will take a closer look at Certiphene™ and determine its effectiveness. We will help determine whether it may really be a worthwhile product to earn our trust, money and time.

Ingredients At A Glance
Some of the ingredients in the formula are as follows: Hoodia Gordonii, Chromium Picolinate, L-Lysine, L-Ornithine, L-Arginine, Kola Nut, Guarana, Grapefruit, Chinese Ginseng, Gymnema, Almond Nut, Bladderwack and Chickweed. The website, though, does not post a clear list of all the ingredients. We could not conclusively verify whether Certiphene™ contains anything else.

Ingredients in Focus
Guarana Extract can be thought of as a form of Caffeine. Additionally, Green Tea also contains a considerable amount of Caffeine. As such, the stimulants in this formula may energize and boost metabolism in the short run. However, it may cause adverse effects like nausea and jitteriness if taken in large quantities. Consumers may want to note that Kola Nut also contains considerable amounts of Caffeine. Caffeine sensitivity may also decrease exponentially over time. This means that although the positive effects may be strong at first, they eventually fade.

On the other hand, Chromium (and especially GTF Chromium) is believed to assist insulin in regulating fat, carbohydrate and glucose levels, and it is even thought to assist with protein metabolism. Therefore, it may not be surprising to find Chromium in many weight loss supplements. We do like the inclusion of Chromium Picolinate, but the formula seems to lack a proven metabolism booster, although the powerful appetite suppressant Hoodia is included.

Hoodia in Focus
To reduce body weight, it may be wise to take preventive actions like proper dieting and regular exercising. However, suppressing food cravings may be a huge issue for most of us. Hoodia has taken the weight loss industry by storm after it made an appearance in a 2004 CBS 60 Minutes special. The reason for all the excitement is the fact that Hoodia contains a special chemical that suppresses hunger. This “P57” molecule is believed to act on the hypothalamus and has been shown to make people feel full, even when they have not eaten recently.

This specific ingredient may normally put a product on the top of the list when it comes to effectiveness, but we fear that the inclusion of so many other ineffective ingredients may have drowned out this product’s possibilities for safe weight loss. This may have been the primary reason this product did not make the list for the $1000 before-and-after photo giveaway program.

Positives
• Contains all-natural herbal ingredients
• Contains Hoodia Gordonii and Chromium Picolinate
• Marketed through official and exclusive website

Negatives
• Their customers do not like them at all and have negative things to say about their experiences. Click here to read a popular Certiphene Blog.
• Formula may be overcrowded, leading to reduced effectiveness
• May contain high amounts of Caffeine, a nervous system stimulant
• Does not seem to have a proven and safe fat burner
• Extensive testimonials unavailable at this time

Final Thoughts
It appears that Certiphene™ offers some ingredients that may assist with suppressing one’s appetite. We always welcome formulas with Hoodia and Chromium. However, we believe that it may have high amounts of Caffeine. Furthermore, safe and effective fat burners seem to be missing. For instance, we have found Bitter Orange Extract to be an exciting and safe way to boost the metabolism. The patented version of this extract, known as Advantra-Z®, is especially effective while maintaining consistent results.

Certiphene™’s initially good image may lead some to believe that it is an excellent product, but the combination of many ineffective ingredients and Caffeine overpower the few truly good ingredients in the formula. To speak honestly, we are not surprised that Certiphene™ has not been chosen as part of the $1000 giveaway program on this site; after all, this program includes only those products exclusively invited because of excellent reviews, customer satisfaction and scientifically verifiable combinations of proven ingredients.
