Some of the ingredients in the formula are as follows: Yerba Mate, Caffeine, Guarana, Damiana, Green Tea, Ginger, Kola Nut, Schinsandra, Scutellaria, Tibetan Ginseng, Cocoa Nut, Jujube, Thea Sinensis Complex, Vitamin B6 and Magnesium. While we do think these ingredients, when considered individually, may have some benefits to general health, we are not sure their combination may be a potent and safe way to burn fat, increase energy and suppress the urge to overeat.
Ingredients in Focus
Guarana Extract is considered a source of Caffeine. Furthermore, Kola Nut and Green Tea also contain a considerable amount of Caffeine. While this stimulant may energize and boost metabolism in the short run, it may cause adverse effects like nausea and jitteriness if taken in larger quantities. Caffeine’s positive effects on energy may also fade over time as Caffeine sensitivity fades.
On the other hand, Yerba Mate may be one of the more potent ingredients in this formula. This extract is derived from a small tree native to South America. For instance, we have found Bitter Orange Extract to be an exciting and safe way to boost the metabolism.
Therefore, we feel that Akavar™ 20/50 may not be the most effective formula on the market today. For instance, we know of superior formulas with Advantra Z®, a patented form of Bitter Orange Extract.
